Outrigger holsters feature a detachable retention panel that serves multiple functions.
The primary function is to retain your holster in your pocket when drawing your weapon. With our prominent thumb push off and the retention panel, the holster should never come close to leaving your pocket.
The retention panel can also serve to camouflage the silhouette of your weapon, making it appear as a wallet, phone, or paperback book.

Our Outrigger holsters for the true mouse guns have both the retention panel and pocket hook as detachable.
We carry these holsters daily. We use the retention panel only, removing the pocket hook which is unnecessary for front pocket carry. We only use the pocket hook if we decide to carry without the retention panel.
To properly function, either the retention panel or the pocket hook needs to be attached, but not both.
